Beyond the threshold

Experimental visual conjurer / Seeker of folklore / No leash, no master

I am a multidisciplinary artist working in traditional and digital art illustration. My work is rooted in black metal and punk subcultures, the occult, and Southern folklore. I am inspired by the underbelly of chthonic wisdom, anti-institutional grit, and the acausal.

As you will notice, most of my work depicts wolves and pit bulls. My saints for this current trajectory of my life. Chains are the reminder of where I came from. Weapons are a projection of the future… For the most part, I draw what interests me.

I am based in Richmond, VA, and I’m available for commissions, collaborations, and strange requests.

Tools of the Trade

Most of my work starts on paper, even the digital ones. Recently, I’ve had a heavy focus towards traditional graphite pencils, G2 ink pens (the only ones that seem to like left-handers), and colored pencils. Digitally, I work with a Huion KAMVAS Pro 16 and Krita.

Prints are made by the wonderful people at CatPrint, a great small business that deserves eternal support. T-shirts were made at a local shop near my old hometown, but since I’ve moved, I am currently seeking a new, local printer in RVA. No mess, no fuss, just pure impact.
